Trees in backyard at Wedgewood Ct

Click on any picture for enlargement.

I pruned some of the lower hanging branches.

This other pine is showing yellowing, which might be a fungus spread by beetles.

University extension recommends prompt removal of dead/dying trees to limit the spread to other pine trees. The branches should be disposed of, or at least chipped to kill the fungus. They say by June, beetles emerge and spread to surrounding trees.

Stump of the dead pine tree that was cut down.

The small pine tree is a volunteer that grew by itself.
